Senior Investment Manager, Renewable Energy & New Technologies (RENT)
Dr. Harald Haas is a Senior Investment Manager of Munich Re’s asset manager MEAG. Harald works in MEAG’s infrastructure debt team; initially Harald was responsible for direct equity investments in renewables. Prior to joining MEAG in 2011 Harald held management roles in industrial blue chips i.a. Linde and ThyssenKrupp where he gained considerable experience in project and trade finance, mainly in the sectors oil & gas, defense, automotive, steel. Harald studied finance at the University of Reading and of Trier and Chinese at the National Chengchi University in Taipei. He earned a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Bremen in monetary history.
