Former Director and now Chairman of Advisory Board in Alternus Energy
Rolf is chairman of the Advisory Board and was a Director of Alternus until recently. Rolf worked closely with the company and Arctic in placing Euro 110 million of Green Bonds in late 2020, plus subsequent 30 million tap raises. In addition to the bonds, Arctic also arranged Euro 27 million of equity in conjunction with the bonds plus an additional Euro 7 million in equity when listing Alternus on the Euronext Growth Market last June. Rolf is also a partner and on the Investment committee of AVG Group that invested Euro 9 million in a partly convertible note in Alternus in 2021. AVG has also invested in Norsk Solar, Arbaflame, Hyperthermics, Norhybrid at Herøya (industrial wind), CleanBay (chicken waste), and other renewable energy investments. He is also a partner in Odelskraft, hydro electric power plants and is chairman of Eurogreen Maritime, a French shipping company having ordered tankers with dual fuel methanol, Corvus batteries, and shaft generator. Rolf spent 16 years on Wall Street art AMA Capital Partners, has been on NYSE and Oslo listed boards, guest lecturer at BI about the US bond market. He also worked for Fearnleys in Mexico City.
